Celebrate the New Year together with your dog with us.
Hotell Vildmarken invites you to meet the new year in a calm and quiet winter environment. Here you and your dog get a calm, comfortable and stress-free* end to 2024. Deep in the forests of Värmland, far from fireworks, parties and loud music, we offer winter landscapes, good food and coziness in front of the fire.
We start on New Year’s Eve afternoon with an English ‘Afternoon tea’. Later in the evening, we will offer a 3-course New Year’s Eve supper with a non-alcoholic beverage package**. Then you can cozy up in front of the fire, play games and music, experience the darkness and silence. If we’re lucky, we might see stars and the Northern Lights.
We celebrate the New Year at 12 o’clock with some bubbles but no firecrackers and fireworks.
The new year starts with a little sleep-in. During the morning, a delicious and plentiful brunch is served. Late check-out (16:00) gives plenty of time to enjoy the winter landscape with nice walking paths. Coffee and tea with light refreshments are always available in the restaurant and included in your stay.
Price for accommodation with made beds, private bathroom, towels and final cleaning. All meals: afternoon tea, 3-course New Year’s Eve soup with non-alcoholic beverage package, bubbels at 12 o’clock and brunch on New Year’s Day.

*Hotel Vildmarken is located in the countryside of Värmland, at a considerable distance from densely populated areas. In recent years we have been spared from fireworks and firecrackers within sight and sound. We can’t guarantee that your dog won’t notice anything, but we promise it’s much quieter than in the city.
**Hotel Vildmarken does not have a license to serve alcohol stronger than 3,5% beer.
